At Nutro Body Care, we want you to know that we carefully consider the impact our ingredients have on our environment, and on the human body. Many manufacturers in the body care products industry are more concerned with price than they are with health and environmental issues. We've made a tremendous effort to ensure that our products are safe for you and for our environment. Here's what we won't do:

 We won't purchase ingredients tested on animals. We recognize the need for extensive product testing to ensure safety, but we believe there are better ways to test products than by subjecting animals to the cruel and inhumane practices.  We won't use Silicone oils. Silicone oil is a non-biodegradable compounds used to impart glide and silky "feel". Silicone oils include Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone and Cyclopentasiloxane among others. Also, we won't use Mineral Oil, Petrolatum, Propylene, Butylene or Dipropylene glycol which are also non-biodegradable and are used in many body care products and industrial applications.  We won't use Coconut Oil. Studies have shown that Coconut Oil can clog the pores. On a scale of 0 to 5 with 5 being the most prone to clogging pores, Coconut Oil is ranked as a 4. Read more here...
